Amazon Leo is building and automating SCADA infrastructure and platform deployments for a satellite manufacturing environment. This role focuses on backend development, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines to abstract SCADA deployment/configuration from SCADA application development while improving reliability, disaster recovery, and developer experience.

  • Design and implement scalable backend infrastructure for Ignition SCADA platform deployments
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using DevOps practices for SCADA system provisioning
  • Build automated deployment frameworks and configuration tools for Ignition SCADA applications
  • Architect cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure solutions supporting OT/IT convergence and SCADA scalability
  • Implement security frameworks and compliance controls for OT infrastructure and perform technical troubleshooting/root cause analysis

You will design scalable backend infrastructure for Ignition SCADA Platform deployments, implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using DevOps practices, and build automated deployment and configuration tools. The scope includes cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure supporting OT/IT convergence, plus monitoring/logging/observability and security/compliance controls.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on systems and automation engineer with direct experience deploying Ignition SCADA Platform at scale using modern DevOps practices. They can build Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines that automate SCADA infrastructure lifecycle deployment, while delivering reliability, disaster recovery, and strong observability for OT/IT environments.
