Key Responsibilities
- Integrate scientific or enterprise applications into operational computing environments
- Modify configuration files, APIs, or interfaces to enable communication between systems
- Troubleshoot integration issues including data flow, compatibility, and versioning problems
- Support testing, validation, and documentation for successful deployment
- Monitor system performance post-integration and recommend adjustments to improve reliability and interoperability
Technical Overview
Performs software integration work by modifying configuration files, APIs, and interfaces, then troubleshoots data flow, compatibility, and versioning issues. Supports testing/validation and produces integration documentation and release notes while monitoring system performance post-integration to improve reliability and interoperability.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level system integration professional (0–2 years) with a bachelor’s degree in a technical field. They have hands-on experience with FORTRAN, C, or C++ and working knowledge of Python, and they can troubleshoot integration issues across APIs, interfaces, and data flows in real operational environments.
