Part-time remote System & Network Administrator to support an MSP environment for dental and healthcare clients. The role focuses on Windows Server/endpoint support, networking, backups/disaster recovery, endpoint security, and ticketing/RMM operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support for Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy)
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows 10 & 11 endpoints
  • Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, switching, and wireless networks
  • Maintain and support backup systems and disaster recovery
  • Work within ticketing systems and RMM platforms to resolve issues

Technical Overview

Support Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) including Active Directory and Group Policy, troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints, manage firewalls/switching/wireless networks, and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems. Use ticketing systems and RMM tools (e.g., Autotask and Datto RMM) and provide endpoint security support, with REQUIRED dental imaging software and workflows (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Sidexis, Dexis).

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced Windows sysadmin who can support Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) with Active Directory and Group Policy, plus troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints. They also have REQUIRED dental IT and imaging experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Sidexis, and Dexis, including dental sensors and X-ray systems, and can handle MSP ticketing and RMM workflows (Autotask and Datto RMM).
