About this role
System of Care Coordinator for child mental health and substance use services across multiple NC counties. Responsible for coordinating system of care, developing committees, and serving as liaison to community partners; attends MDT meetings and public forums to advocate for services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the System of Care for assigned counties
- Staff community collaborative(s), recruit and maintain membership
- Attend partner agency staff meetings and promote best practices
- Educate stakeholders on funding sources and eligibility
- Connect individuals to resources via LME/CCNC/Carolina Complete Health
Technical Overview
Non-IT role focusing on program coordination, policy development, and resource management within community service networks; no software stack emphasis. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with LME, CCNC, and state guidelines.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level human services professional with a Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience in child public service systems, strong collaboration and public-facing skills, and the ability to travel within the Southern Region NC. They should excel at coordinating across agencies and facilitating MDTs.
