About this role
Support access services by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Active Directory, group policies, and authentication systems. Manage access-related tickets in an ITSM tool and coordinate with IT teams, escalating to Tier 2 when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and solve Active Directory issues
- Troubleshoot Group policies, DNS, TCP/IP, NTFS issues
- Support AD environment for authentication, authorization, and LDAP services
- Troubleshoot Duo Two Factor Authentication and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) including PIV-I and phishing resistant tools
- Document, review, update, or close tickets within an ITSM tool and follow up with customers to verify resolution
Technical Overview
Role focuses on Active Directory administration and troubleshooting plus access control security. It includes Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) support for Duo Two Factor Authentication (DUO For Desktop and VPN Authentication) and MFA using Personal Identity Verification-Interoperable (PIV-I), as well as Remote Access Authentication (RAA) and networking troubleshooting (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(s)).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level systems administrator with 3+ years supporting Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, LDAP services, and directory replication. They have hands-on troubleshooting experience for authentication and authorization issues, especially Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Duo Two Factor Authentication, Personal Identity Verification-Interoperable (PIV-I), and Remote Access Authentication (RAA), using an ITSM ticketing workflow.
