About this role
Morgan Stanley is hiring a Director-level Systems Analyst to analyze business processes and partner with teams to implement and improve technology systems. The role includes owning solutions, working with vendors for application updates and production deployments, and supporting rollouts and testing across web, cloud, and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes
- Update vendor applications and carry out deployments to production
- Troubleshoot system issues and propose solutions for inefficiencies
- Act as IT System owner for solutions
- Model and manage telemetry pipelines into SQL/Power BI/ADX
Technical Overview
You will work with web-based SaaS applications, on-prem solutions, and IoT/OT hardware, handling onboarding, modifications, testing, and troubleshooting. You will also model and manage telemetry pipelines feeding SQL/Power BI/ADX with strong focus on data quality, lineage, and retention for timeseries analytics, while submitting security architecture designs for review.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Systems Analyst/Director-level technology leader who can analyze and document business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design practical system improvements. They have strong experience supporting deployments to production, collaborating with developers and vendors, and owning end-to-end solution delivery, including telemetry/data pipelines into SQL/Power BI/ADX with a focus on data quality and lineage.
