About this role
AWS Mission Networking Edge Connectivity role focuses on designing and implementing automation, IaC, and SRE practices to support government client connectivity services across regions, with on-call support and strong exposure to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems automation, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment pipelines for AWS Mission Networking services across multiple regions
- Build operational tooling and monitoring systems for service management
- Architect and develop SRE practices including runbooks, alerting, and automated remediation
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate systems with AWS infrastructure and government environments
- Mentor teammates on systems engineering best practices
Technical Overview
Emphasis on automation, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, and site reliability engineering; candidate will integrate AWS infrastructure with government environments and mentor teammates.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level systems development engineer with at least 3 years of non-internship software development experience and a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. They should be proficient in systems automation, IaC, and SRE practices, and able to operate in a government-focused AWS environment.
