This Systems Engineer role maintains and modernizes a hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliable client-facing systems. You will lead IT initiatives, administer platforms for web performance (domain names and certificates), respond to outages, and support virtualization such as ProxMox.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise systems including on-premises applications, file servers, and database systems
Administer client-facing application platforms (domain names, certificates, web application performance monitoring)
Enhance and support hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises systems with Microsoft Azure
Respond to system outages and alerts to restore operations
Support virtualization solutions such as ProxMox and provide third-tier technical support

Technical Overview

You will operate enterprise systems including on-premises applications, file servers, and database systems, then extend capabilities into Microsoft Azure. The role includes managing domain names, certificates, and monitoring web application performance, plus providing third-tier support and working with virtualization platforms such as ProxMox.
