This role is for a Systems Engineer supporting full-life cycle design, analysis, integration planning, and verification activities in Textron Systems’ Sea Systems business area. You will lead requirements analysis, systems modeling, trade studies, and provide design review support while coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.

  • Support full-life cycle engineering design and development activities
  • Lead and/or requirements analysis, systems modeling, trade studies, requirements derivation, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management and engineering analysis tasks.
  • Develop technical solutions to difficult engineering problems.
  • Conduct liaison activities with subcontractors, external manufacturers, and customers.
  • Drive tasks to completion independently

The position focuses on systems engineering tasks including requirements derivation, systems modeling, trade studies, integration planning, and supporting test and verification activities. It requires strong communication through engineering documentation and basic understanding of vehicle systems. Microsoft Office is required; Cameo/MagicDraw familiarity and DOD experience are preferred.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Systems Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of related experience supporting full-life cycle engineering design and development. They can lead requirements analysis, systems modeling, trade studies, and integration planning, and they communicate effectively through design documentation. Familiarity with Cameo/MagicDraw and DOD experience are strong pluses, along with eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
