About this role

Systems Engineer I at Switch will support deployment, maintenance, and operation of Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization, storage, and identity services. The role includes on-call support and working across IT policies and procedures to ensure stable, secure, and available infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers
Assist with virtualization platforms, storage, and AD
Monitor performance and troubleshoot across compute/storage/identity
Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing
On-call rotation and incident support

Technical Overview

Supports Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtualization, AD/identity management, monitoring, backups, and DR. Requires scripting (PowerShell/Ansible) and ITSM familiarity; operates in a hybrid model with on-call responsibilities.
