About this role
This role is a paid hybrid internship supporting Tariff Recovery & Mitigation efforts at Avnet’s Phoenix facility. The intern will work full-time seasonally and contribute to projects while building soft skills and receiving performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tariff recovery and mitigation projects for assigned work
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete assigned tasks
- Demonstrate leadership through work and school activities
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to team-building
- Work independently with clear direction and minimal daily supervision
Technical Overview
The technical scope is primarily analytical and business-focused for the tariff recovery/mitigation domain, supported by Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a hybrid internship setting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Supply Chain, International Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or Industrial Engineering undergraduate student with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. They are skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), demonstrate leadership, and can work independently on directed projects while collaborating effectively.
