About this role

This role is a paid hybrid internship supporting Tariff Recovery & Mitigation efforts at Avnet’s Phoenix facility. The intern will work full-time seasonally and contribute to projects while building soft skills and receiving performance feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Support tariff recovery and mitigation projects for assigned work
Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete assigned tasks
Demonstrate leadership through work and school activities
Collaborate with team members and contribute to team-building
Work independently with clear direction and minimal daily supervision

Technical Overview

The technical scope is primarily analytical and business-focused for the tariff recovery/mitigation domain, supported by Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a hybrid internship setting.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Supply Chain, International Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or Industrial Engineering undergraduate student with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. They are skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), demonstrate leadership, and can work independently on directed projects while collaborating effectively.
