About this role
Serve as a Tax Accountant II supporting investments-focused tax accounting. You will apply IRS, GAAP, SEC, and SSAP requirements and perform financial analysis and valuation work using accounting systems and tax research software.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply IRS codes and regulations for tax accounting and investments
- Use GAAP, SEC requirements, and SSAP for statutory and financial reporting
- Operate accounting and financial systems user applications (SAP) and tax research tools
- Perform moderately complex financial analysis and valuation methodologies
- Prepare statistical studies and trend analysis and recommend improvements

The role uses SAP for accounting/financial systems and relies on tax research tools such as Thompson Reuters Checkpoint and OneSource. Day-to-day work includes moderately complex financial analysis, statistical studies, and trend analysis with intermediate Excel skills.
