Team Lead for Symbotic’s Commissioning team, responsible for commissioning robotic cells at customer sites, coordinating schedules, resources, and performance reporting across regions with up to 75% travel.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in preparation and coordination of site commissioning schedule
Lead on-site commissioning to meet timelines and budgets
Prepare performance reports for commissioning and testing
Coach and mentor site team members
Lead daily scrum for operational team

Technical Overview

Technical scope includes PLC/robotics stack (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens; ABB, Fanuc), industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet), HMI, electrical drawings, and safety/compliance during site deployment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior commissioning lead with 5+ years of experience in automated commissioning of robotic systems, with strong PLC/robotics background (ABB, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and solid knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet). Must be able to manage site commissioning, coordinate resources, and deliver reporting in a remote, travel-heavy role.
