About this role
Lead the front-end shift operation team to optimize OEE for can-making equipment and ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality production. Coordinate maintenance and improvement activities, drive TPM and 5S, manage changeovers, and close deviations and quality issues on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible of Operation of Front end equipment and optimum speed/efficiency
- Ensure power press Safety checks within first two hours and close deviations on time
- Perform daily Operation/Maintenance checks and escalate/close open items
- Ensure cans meet quality specification with timely corrective actions for deviations
- Drive housekeeping/hygiene, scrap handling, size changeovers, TPM and 5's activities
Technical Overview
Hands-on front-end manufacturing equipment leadership focused on OEE improvement, process troubleshooting, and maintenance planning for Cupper/Bodymakers/trimmers. Ensures safety checks (power press) and quality controls including CCP- Sliver in Trimmers, while running TPM and 5S and meeting area KPIs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a front-end manufacturing team leader with hands-on shift responsibility for OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and front-end can-making equipment. They have strong troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities across Cupper, Bodymakers, and trimmers, with a proven track record of driving TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, and on-time quality and deviation closures.
