About this role

Lead the end-to-end design, creation, and delivery of technical documentation for complex technology products. Create documentation plans across the full lifecycle and translate cloud concepts and AWS services into clear developer-focused materials.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical documentation design, creation, and delivery
Deliver conceptual, procedural, and reference documentation for technical audiences
Create content plans and manage documentation lifecycles
Create and maintain sample code, scripts, and technical procedures
Mentor technical writers and participate in design reviews and technical discussions

Technical Overview

Create conceptual, procedural, and reference documentation using content publishing tools and industry-standard authoring workflows such as mark-up languages and source control. Author and maintain sample code, scripts, and technical procedures while collaborating with engineers through design reviews and technical discussions.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Tech III technical writer with 5+ years of experience producing conceptual, procedural, and reference documentation for technical audiences. They have 1+ year of experience creating developer-oriented documentation using content publishing tools, authoring/publishing tools, mark-up languages, and source control, plus the ability to author sample code, scripts, and technical procedures for AWS services.
