About this role
This role focuses on developing and delivering competency-based training for fixed plant maintenance in a mining environment. The instructor will conduct hands-on and classroom training, maintain training records in the LMS, and align programs with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on and classroom training to build employee skills; Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to align training with workforce needs; Maintain training records in the LMS; Develop competency-based training materials; Mentor instructional staff
Technical Overview
Training scope includes adult education methodologies, LMS administration, competency-based materials, and alignment with MSHA/OSHA standards. Experience with LMS and documentation is required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an educator with 3+ years of directly related training experience, mining or industrial background, and strong LMS experience plus knowledge of MSHA/OSHA standards. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
