About this role

Contract Technical Lead / Integrations Developer role supporting Oracle HCM Cloud integrations and extracts for a higher-education client. The work includes integration development, data conversion/loading, BI reporting, and workflow/security configuration with full involvement across SDLC including integration testing and UAT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle HCM Extracts for secure file transmissions
  • Build Oracle HCM Cloud integrations with external systems and generate EDI/EFT interface files
  • Perform bulk data mapping and data loads using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and related tools
  • Develop BI Publisher reports and dashboards using OBIEE
  • Configure Oracle HCM workflows and approval hierarchies and support SDLC with integration testing and UAT

Technical Overview

You will design, develop, and maintain Oracle HCM Extracts, build inbound/outbound integrations with external systems, and generate EDI/EFT interface files in multiple formats (delimited, fixed-width, CSV). The role also covers data loading via HCM Data Loader (HDL) with tools like HSDL/FBL/PBL/Fast Formulas, BI Publisher reporting, OBIEE analytics dashboards, Oracle HCM workflow and security configuration, plus integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with defect resolution and performance tuning.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Technical Lead / Integrations Developer with a strong Oracle HCM background, including hands-on delivery of complex inbound and outbound integrations and reporting extracts. They have experience using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and related tools, building BI Publisher reports, configuring Oracle HCM workflows and security, and supporting SDLC through integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
