About this role
Technical Leader to design, simulate, and validate DSP/FEC algorithms for coherent optical transmission systems; lead cross-functional efforts to optimize performance in ASIC-based transceivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate and validate new DSP or FEC algorithms for optical transceivers
- Test and optimize algorithms on hardware
- Develop models of analog RF and optical components
- Collaborate with optical testing and firmware teams for calibration and run-time optimization
- Present technical information to colleagues
Technical Overview
Stack includes C++, Linux, SystemVerilog/SystemC; experience with DSP, FEC, optical transceivers, and lab-based silicon validation; familiar with SVN and Perforce version control.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior technical leader with deep DSP/FEC experience in coherent optical communications, hands-on ASIC development, strong C++/Linux skills, and a track record of lab collaboration and leadership in a hybrid work environment.
