About this role
Remote, senior storage-focused architect role focusing on evaluating, designing, and building storage environments and architectures for ATC labs and customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with customers and partners
- Design and Build environments and storage solutions for customer engagements for sandbox, PoCs, and Lab-as-a-Service
- Create architectural diagrams, access guides, and other documents
- Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and internal teams to develop test plans, use cases, and high/low level designs
- Foster OEM partnerships and relationships that support WWT's go-to-market strategy around storage solutions
Technical Overview
Stack includes major storage vendors (NetApp, Dell/EMC, PURE, VAST, Qumulo, Hitachi, HPE, IBM) with cloud integration via AWS; virtualization and lab-based testing are core components.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced storage-focused architect with 3+ years in storage engineering and 5+ years total IT experience, proficient with major storage vendors and cloud platforms, and capable of designing and validating storage solutions for ATC lab environments.
