Technical Overview
Scope includes Outside Plant to backbone distribution, communication room layouts, rack elevations, and cable schedules using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam with NEC/NFPA 70 and TIA standards.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior telecommunications designer with 6+ years' telecom design experience, proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, with NEC/TIA knowledge and leadership experience in multi-discipline projects.
Must-Have Skills
Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degreeAt least 6 years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction industryKnowledge & application of NFPA 70 (NEC) as applicable to telecommunications design requirementsKnowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (TIA) standardsExperience leading telecommunications design teamExperience editing design and construction specificationsExperience with start-up and commissioning of telecommunications systemsExperience estimating and scheduling design efforts for large multi-building projects with multiple phases and design packagesStrong structured cabling design backgroundProficiency with BluebeamEffective verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with Navisworks
