About this role
ASSYST is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to design and maintain automation frameworks for Web UI and REST API testing. The role also includes mandatory Section 508 / WCAG accessibility testing and integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Analyze results and track defects in an Agile/Scrum workflow
Technical Overview
You will automate UI tests with Selenium WebDriver and API tests with REST Assured and/or Postman, using frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber (BDD). You will implement CI/CD test execution via Jenkins and Azure DevOps, use Git and SQL for validation, and perform accessibility testing with Axe, WAVE, and ARC Toolkit including keyboard and screen reader checks (JAWS/NVDA).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior SDET with 8+ years of test automation experience, strong Java programming skills, and hands-on UI and API automation. They have mandatory accessibility testing experience for Section 508 / WCAG compliance using tools like Axe, WAVE, and ARC Toolkit, and they integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
