Test Engineer role focused on validating a hybrid cloud file synchronization product that connects on-premises Windows file servers to cloud-based file storage. You will develop and execute structured testing, analyze defects, and ensure thorough validation of customer-facing scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures
Execute functional, regression, and scenario-based testing
Validate behavior across hybrid and on-premises/cloud environments
Identify, analyze, document, and track defects and retest fixes
Communicate defects, results, and risk assessments; maintain quality documentation and metrics

Technical Overview

The scope includes functional, regression, and scenario-based testing across hybrid and on-premises/cloud environments. You will identify and track defects in a bug tracking system, retest fixes, and maintain documentation and quality metrics, using Azure and PowerShell as key technical areas.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a QA/Test Engineer experienced in building and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures for hybrid cloud systems. They have strong functional and regression testing skills, can analyze defects using bug tracking tools, and clearly communicate risks and results to engineering stakeholders, with hands-on familiarity with Azure and PowerShell.
