Amazon is hiring an Automation Engineer Manager (TOL3) to lead a team focused on equipment reliability and operational excellence in fulfillment centers. The manager will oversee controls automation and technical support, troubleshoot complex control systems, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring automation engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Apply SME troubleshooting and deep dive support to eliminate/mitigate downtime of critical assets
Program and source code for in-house built solutions based in PLC or PC controllers and SCADA/OEE platforms
Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems and industrial networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus)
Provide escalation support to automation engineers during and after business hours, troubleshooting locally and remotely
Establish training plans and mentor a team of automation engineers
