The Transfer Agency Associate 2 supports mutual fund trading operations within State Street's mutual fund trading team. Responsibilities include executing day-to-day operations, client reporting, and maintaining SOPs; requires 1+ year in financial services and a Bachelor's degree.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and reporting investor level transactions (purchases, distributions, transfers, redemptions) and money movement
- Working with clients, broker-dealers, and vendors to provide operational support
- Managing client SLAs and internal/external KPIs
- Collaborating with other Transfer Agency units and internal departments
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
Technical Overview
This role focuses on operations and processes rather than a software stack. Key emphasis is on accurate transaction processing, reporting, and SOP adherence within a financial services context.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level transfer agency professional with 1+ years of mutual fund operations experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage client reporting and SLA/KPI deliverables.
