About this role
This role leads overhead transmission line engineering and design execution for projects spanning 12 kV to 500 kV. The Transmission Line Engineer Lead mentors a team of engineers and designers, oversees routing and structure evaluations, and reviews deliverables to ensure constructible, safe solutions for utility and EPC clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor transmission engineers and designers
- Oversee conceptual designs, routing evaluations, structure type selection, and cost/constructability assessments
- Review and approve detailed design deliverables including plan & profile drawings
- Ensure technical accuracy and deliver safe, reliable, constructible solutions
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts and support construction execution
Technical Overview
The technical scope includes conceptual design development, routing evaluations, structure type selection, cost/constructability assessments, and approval of detailed design deliverables such as plan & profile drawings and structure loading. The lead also provides construction support and ensures technical accuracy across the project lifecycle.
