Transportation Manager

The role oversees both private fleet and common carrier modes, drives cost performance, and ensures on-time delivery.

• Execute safe, effective, and efficient transportation operations and deliver annual operating plan and cost savings objectives
• Optimize private fleet dispatch to maximize driver DOT HOS and reduce Cost Per Mile (CPM)
• Manage mode mix and route plans for on-time delivery performance across private fleet and carriers
• Maintain transportation capacity for a 20% surge in volume using private fleet, common carrier, or dedicated solutions
• Drive asset utilization improvements including fuel economy, payload efficiency, route optimization, and wait time reduction
