About this role
AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager based in Minneapolis, MN to lead mid to large highway/roadway projects. The role blends project leadership with business development, technical advisory work, quality control reviews, and estimation support for engineering budgets and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mid to large highway/roadway projects
- Drive business development with MnDOT and local counties
- Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
- Provide engineering budget and schedule estimates
- Guide studies and design work using PA/ED and PS&E packages
Technical Overview
This position manages technical studies and design efforts and oversees quality control for design calculations and drawings. It involves supporting deliverables using PA/ED and PS&E packages and may require software proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCad, including OpenRoads Designer and Civil3D.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior transportation project manager with BA/BS and 10+ years of related experience, including leadership of mid to large highway/roadway projects. They bring strong business development and proposal development capabilities with MnDOT/local counties, plus quality control experience across design calculations/drawings and the PA/ED and PS&E packages.
