About this role
This role coordinates and supervises daily transportation and dispatch functions, including shipping and backhaul management. The supervisor ensures compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards, leads driver training and reviews, and oversees safety metrics and accident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train and mentor transportation team members
- Manage driver onboarding, retention and training
- Ensure DOT and FMCSA compliance and enforce DOT safety policies
- Monitor and report safety/compliance metrics including CSA (Carrier Safety Administration) and KPIs
- Lead accident procedures: Drive Cam monitoring, accident investigations, and related processes
