Zoom is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer for Zoom Phone in the Upmarket segment. The role translates business objectives into enterprise telephony solution strategies and works across customer-facing, product, architecture, and QA teams to test and validate features before production release.

  • Translate business objectives into telephony solution strategies;Partner with Sales Engineers and UCaaS Advisors to align recommendations;Collaborate with product, architecture, and quality teams to test and validate telephony features;Diagnose and troubleshoot complex telephony and network configurations during proof-of-concept;Deliver demos and create/maintain technical documentation for solution delivery and sales enablement

The solutions engineer will demonstrate and troubleshoot advanced UCaaS and CCaaS solution capabilities, including SIP/RTP/QoS, codecs, and PBX architectures. They will also apply enterprise networking fundamentals (routing, switching, LAN/WAN, firewalls, TCP/IP IPv4, DNS, and SBCs) during proof-of-concept phases and customer demos.

The ideal candidate is a senior solutions engineer with 7+ years of technical pre-sales or customer-facing engineering experience, focused on enterprise telephony. They have expert-level command of SIP, RTP, QoS, codecs, and PBX architectures, and strong enterprise networking fundamentals including TCP/IP (IPv4), DNS, firewalls, and SBCs. They can lead proof-of-concept troubleshooting, deliver demos for UCaaS/CCaaS solutions, and support sales enablement with high-quality technical documentation.
