About this role
US Material Handler supporting mixing/packaging, inventory maintenance, and warehouse shipping/receiving. The role includes hazardous waste and hazardous materials handling, accurate container storage management with documentation, and preparing shipments for off-site recycling/disposal.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload tanker trucks/rail cars using forklift equipment
- Ship and receive products according to company procedures
- Handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste including storage and documentation
- Package into drum and totes and perform splash blending
- Clean and maintain warehouse/tank farm and equipment
Technical Overview
Warehouse/tank farm operations involving forklift operation and logistics for tanker trucks/rail cars. Performs drum/tote packaging and splash blending, cleans and maintains equipment, and supports hazardous waste compliance with inspections/paperwork while using respiratory protection equipment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a warehouse material handler comfortable loading/unloading tanker trucks and rail cars using forklift equipment. They have experience with hazardous materials and hazardous waste handling, including accurate storage management, inspections and paperwork, and preparation for off-site recycling/disposal. They can perform splash blending and packaging into drum and totes, communicate effectively in English, use respiratory protection equipment, and pass drug testing.
