Walmart is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy advanced analytical and machine learning models that turn complex data into actionable insights. The role focuses on data sourcing, data quality assessment, model lifecycle management, and communicating results through sophisticated visualizations.

• Identify and source relevant data from multiple domains
• Perform initial data quality assessments
• Develop, test, and deploy advanced analytical models using Python and SQL
• Validate and tune models for accuracy, robustness, and scalability
• Create data visualizations and collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

You will build end-to-end data science solutions using Python and SQL, including model development, validation, and deployment into scalable production environments. The work includes data engineering concepts (data quality standards and data governance) and communicating insights via Matplotlib, Plotly, and Tableau.

The ideal candidate is a senior data scientist with deep experience in machine learning and advanced statistical modeling, including end-to-end work from data sourcing and data quality assessment to model development, deployment, and validation in production. They are proficient in Python and SQL and can clearly communicate results using data visualization tools like Tableau, Matplotlib, and Plotly.
