About this role
Onsite technical field service role in Jacksonville supporting logistics and IT systems. The role focuses on tracking equipment in MCPIC, troubleshooting network infrastructure, installing/testing hardware and software, and providing customer support and training, with 25% OCONUS travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark, Pack, Inventory, and track equipment using MCPIC software and hardware systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
- Assist with software and hardware installation and testing
- Provide customer support and training with logistics software and hardware
- Resolve issues utilizing excellent customer service and problem solving skills
Technical Overview
Performs equipment inventory tracking using MCPIC systems and monitors/troubleshoots network infrastructure devices to keep systems operational. Handles software and hardware installation and testing, supports logistics software/hardware, and uses Microsoft Office, electronic timesheets, and basic database entry in daily work.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented technical field service professional with 3+ years of relevant experience supporting logistics environments and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices. They can install and test software/hardware, provide customer support and training, and handle onsite work in Jacksonville with frequent OCONUS travel. The candidate holds CompTIA Security+ (or can obtain within 6 months) and can obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance as a U.S. citizen.
