Amazon is hiring a UX Designer III for multiple positions at the Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. The role focuses on end-to-end UX design for large-scale projects, grounded in user-centered design and informed by site/software data and user behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with product owners, developers, programmers, and other designers
- Perform end to end design of large-scale projects using a user-centered design approach
- Assess and analyze current site and software data and user behavior
- Create designs addressing user needs and business goals while enforcing design guidelines
- Present design solutions and collaborate with cross-functional groups for implementation and rationalization
Technical Overview
You will design scalable, dynamic user interfaces for large-scale, multi-tiered platforms using web design principles and tools such as Wireframe Applications, Photoshop, Axure, HTML, and prototyping tools. The work includes collaborating with developers for implementation, enforcing design guidelines, and presenting solutions across teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior UX Designer with experience performing end-to-end design for large-scale, multi-tiered platforms using a user-centered design approach. They are hands-on with Wireframe Applications, Photoshop, Axure, HTML, and prototyping tools, and can collaborate with developers to implement designs while rationalizing solutions across cross-functional groups.
