About this role
Lead financial strategy and compliance work for Tribal Administrative Services within the Finance Pod, advising tribes on policies, reporting, and key financial initiatives. Own major deliverables such as indirect cost rate proposals and Section 105(l) lease agreements, including financial modeling and negotiation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tribal financial policies and procedures aligned to 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), GAAP, and tribal law
- Serve as primary strategist/advisor for Section 105(l) lease agreements with financial modeling and lease valuation
- Oversee preparation and submission of indirect cost rate proposals and cost allocation plans
- Analyze tribal financial structures, revenue sources, and grant fund utilization to improve sustainability and cost recovery
- Provide ongoing advisory support across tribal finance and compliance initiatives
Technical Overview
This role is centered on tribal finance governance and regulatory alignment—designing policies and procedures under 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
