About this role
Create and validate preoperative surgical plans for the Arthrex VIP (Virtual Implant Positioning) system by processing patient CT scans in 3D CAD software. Use the plans to assemble and calibrate instruments, perform quality control, and support related technical collaboration and 3D printing requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming patient CT Scans in 3D CAD software to create preoperative plans
- Assemble and calibrate instruments using CAD based on physician-approved plans
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure conformance
- Use 3D CAD software for quality control and product creation
- Create and ship 3D printed anatomical models upon physician request
Technical Overview
Hands-on work with computer-aided design, including processing CT scans into 3D CAD workflows for implant assemblies and calibration requirements. The role also uses 3D printing technologies to produce anatomical models and performs quality control to ensure conformance.
