About this role
This role monitors, implements, and optimizes virtualization systems including Citrix CVAD environments, with hybrid on-prem/cloud responsibilities for a financial services firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrate, implement, maintain, and optimize all Virtualization systems including CVAD environments; Manage policy in Citrix, Active Directory, Intune, Ivanti AppSense, Island Enterprise Browser; Second-line escalation point for Citrix incidents; Monitor CVAD components and Cloud services; Deploy Citrix upgrades, testing, and validation in non-production environments
Technical Overview
Hands-on Citrix CVAD, NetScaler/ADC, delivery controllers, StoreFront, and VDA management; AD/Intune/Ivanti AppSense; cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP); patching, licensing, and image optimization in a hybrid setup.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level virtualization administrator with 3-6 years experience in Citrix CVAD environments, PowerShell scripting, and hybrid on-prem/cloud setups, ideally in financial services.
