VP, Data Governance & Compliance

This role leads the Americas data and model governance and compliance program, aligning policies, standards, and procedures to enterprise expectations. It emphasizes data quality, metadata governance, data security and privacy, along with ongoing compliance monitoring and risk frameworks for AI and model management.

• Lead development and implementation of the America's business data and model governance and compliance program
• Define and execute policies and standards for data management, data quality, metadata, data security and privacy
• Ensure compliance related to contractual, regulatory and RGA ethical requirements
• Monitor compliance with data governance policies through audits and metrics reporting
• Develop regional risk management frameworks for AI and model management in conjunction with Enterprise frameworks

The technical scope centers on governance rather than tooling: establishing data governance and compliance programs, defining standards for data management and quality, and governing AI/model management and third-party data usage. The role uses audits and metrics reporting to ensure policy adherence and continuously improve governance performance.

The ideal candidate is an executive leader who has owned data governance and compliance programs, including data quality, metadata standards, data security, and privacy. They bring experience leading AI and model governance and creating risk management frameworks, with the ability to drive adoption through change management and compliance monitoring across stakeholders.
