About this role
This executive role leads Velera’s disputes strategy narrative, roadmap, and market presence. The VP ensures alignment between strategic priorities and roadmap execution while delivering clear messaging to senior leadership, clients, and industry stakeholders through thought leadership and executive presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead enterprise disputes strategy and multi-year roadmap
- Partner across disputes operations, client experience, product, industry services and technology to translate strategy into initiatives
- Develop executive-level guidance on prioritization, trade-offs and long-term capability development
- Represent Velera as a senior disputes thought leader in client meetings and industry forums
- Develop and oversee executive-ready PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership, clients, board-level discussions and industry forums
Technical Overview
The technical scope is primarily strategic and operational rather than software engineering: translating operating models and data into executive-ready narratives and guiding disputes-related strategy, engagement programs, and industry positioning. The role requires ongoing monitoring of regulatory shifts and emerging dispute practices to inform the disputes strategy roadmap.

The ideal candidate is an executive-level leader who can own enterprise disputes strategy and a multi-year roadmap while shaping clear external and internal messaging. They bring experience translating complex operating models and data into executive narratives, creating executive-ready PowerPoint materials, and leading client and industry engagement in a regulated fintech/payments environment.
