About this role
The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking materials and products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. The role packs orders for shipment, supports outgoing freight, maintains productivity and accuracy, and keeps the warehouse organized and clean.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve materials from warehouse locations based on picking lists
- Prepare and package orders for shipment with proper labeling, sealing, and documentation
- Support the outgoing freight process and meet daily shipping deadlines
- Survey items for damage or defects before shipment and meet productivity/accuracy standards
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor and assist with loading/unloading trucks
Technical Overview
This is a non-IT warehouse operations role requiring basic computer skills and careful adherence to shipping documentation, labeling, and quality checks before shipment. Work is performed on the warehouse floor with standard material handling tasks such as loading/unloading trucks and moving materials within the facility.
