About this role
Web Content Manager is a contract, remote role supporting a WordPress-based website that connects into an LMS. The work is centered on discovery, requirements investigation, planning, and thorough documentation while coordinating with marketing and content stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with marketing and content teams to understand needs
- Investigate technical requirements and options across web platforms
- Document findings and determine scope, feasibility, and next steps
- Support WordPress website integrated into an LMS
- Maintain accessibility and reliability and troubleshoot/escalate as needed
Technical Overview
You will support existing web templates and systems (no new design work required) and provide light backend or JavaScript support when needed. The role includes troubleshooting at a conceptual and coordination level and maintaining accessibility and reliability across web properties, including LMS migration planning discussions.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a web content manager who can support a WordPress website feeding into an LMS while partnering closely with marketing and content teams. They will spend most of their time on discovery, planning, and documentation, and can provide light backend or JavaScript support when needed.
