About this role
This role is responsible for website hosting and server maintenance, ensuring web applications are available, efficient, and secure. You will handle deployments, backups, regular updates, quality control checks, and disaster recovery while analyzing website usage data.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer daily support of critical web applications, website maintenance, deployments, and system backups
- Ensure access security, testing, and integrity of web pages
- Determine sources of problems and take corrective actions
- Ensure effective disaster recovery procedures and defense against spamming, DDoS, and hacking issues
- Track, compile, and analyze website usage data
Technical Overview
The technical environment spans WordPress and other CMS platforms with database administration across MySQL and MSSQL. You will manage hosting providers and control panels (WP Engine, GoDaddy, SiteGround, cPanel, Plesk, WHM) and infrastructure across Linux and Windows, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Digital Ocean, with strong DNS management using Cloudflare and CDNs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on web hosting specialist with 3–4 years of experience managing websites and critical web applications. They are strong in WordPress hosting, DNS management with Cloudflare and CDNs, and server maintenance across both Linux and Windows, including backups, migrations, and security hardening.
Must-Have Skills
