Amazon Leo is looking for a Wireless Integration and Test Engineer to define and develop the wireless network communication system architecture. The role focuses on integrating and verifying HW/SW subsystems, building custom HW/SW and automation for link bring-up, and improving performance and reliability for LEO connectivity.

  • Integrate and verify HW/SW sub-systems for link bring-up
  • Verify link budget and RF line-ups in RF and IF configurations
  • Develop time synchronized test setups using signal generators and spectrum analyzers
  • Architect and document time/frequency/space acquisition and tracking algorithms with Doppler compensation
  • Develop customized test plans and bring up procedures using Linux, Python, and bash scripting

You will work on digital signal processing and wireless communications solutions, including link-layer integration and verification in RF and IF configurations. Responsibilities include RF testing for link budget and timing budgets, building time-synchronized lab setups using signal generators and spectrum analyzers, and implementing/documenting acquisition and tracking algorithms with Doppler compensation (CFO/SFO).

The ideal candidate is an embedded and wireless communications engineer with 3+ years of experience integrating and verifying hardware/software sub-systems for link bring-up in LEO communications. They are strong in RF/IF testing, digital signal processing, and time/frequency acquisition and tracking algorithms, with hands-on lab experience using Linux, Python, and bash scripting.
